Hello, I’m glad you’re here. Let me begin by sharing a little about myself. I am a Follower of Jesus, who is also a poet and author. My passion is helping people become shaped into the image of Jesus Christ. I live out that passion through writing poetry, prayers, and devotions. I am a semi-retired seminary professor currently teaching Spiritual Formation seminars in Gateway Seminary’s Doctor of Ministry program. Before becoming a seminary professor, I served as a pastor for over twenty years.

A Little Coffee Crazy
Another thing about me is that I love coffee. I start each day by brewing a pot, settling in with that hot elixir, and spending time with the Lord. God does not sleep (Psalm 121:4), but I certainly do, and I need coffee to move from slumber to sharpness. I also drink several more cups during the day – way too much coffee.
