Splashes of Royalty
Followers of Jesus Christ are royalty! We are the adopted children of God. The all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-present Creator of the Universe has adopted us in his family. This means that we are royalty and heavenly heirs. However, as adopted people, we continue to struggle with what it means to be royalty. We still "fall short of the glory of God." We do not consistently live out our royalty. Sometimes, we live exactly like we are royal children of the Most High God.. We often live insplashes of royalty. This book of poetry and prayers expresses what some of those Splashes of Royalty look like and helps us move toward living in the stream of royalty.

Good Morning, Lord!
How do you start your devotional (quiet) time with God each day? How do you focus your heart and mind? How do you shut out the world, destroy the distractions, and focus on God alone? One of the ways to start your time with God is by saying an invocation prayer. The word "invoke" means "to call for with earnest desire or to petition." An invocation is, therefore, a form of prayer recognizing God's presence and calling for him to listen to your pleas. This book contains thirty-one invocations—one for each day of the month. Starting your devotional time with these invocations will help you focus your entire being on God and "set the stage" for deeper fellowship with Christ during the day.
